Free Christmas Blog Backgrounds

The Christmas background issue has been solved! They are now ready to use. I hope you enjoy them. Photobucket has changed things on their site and you now have to upload things according to your computer screen size. I have made backgrounds for 19 " screens and 17" screens, thus the two links you will see. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO WHICH SIZE OF LINK YOU ARE COPYING to save yourself any hassle. If you have a different size screen, please leave a comment with the size of your computer screen and the name of the background you would like. Scroll on down to choose your Christmas background. PLEASE READ ME

I have had several people comment that the Christmas backgrounds are too wide. If you read the previous post I discussed the issues that are taking place. As I mentioned before, I will let you all know when the problem has been resolved...hopefully soon! Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Issues...

I just tried to use one of the new backgrounds on my personal blog and found that it is way too wide. There is a problem with Photobucket that I need to get figured out. When I try to download pictures from Photobucket it does the same thing-makes them gigantic! I will let you all know when I figure out what is going on. For now at least you can look at the backgrounds and pick which one you want!

New Halloween and fall backgrounds are coming soon...I promise! I have been so busy lately with a million things, but I plan on getting to some this weekend. Thanks for being patient with me!

Some new insight

Okay. Here's the deal...lately I have had a few people say that they haven't been able to get my backgrounds to work. I had no idea what to tell them since I haven't changed anything and tons of other people get them to work just fine. Tonight as I was installing a blog for a customer I ran into an issue I have never had before. If you had one of The Cutest Blog on the Block's backgrounds on your blog just prior to trying to add one of mine, this is what you need to do.

FIRST you need to remove the gadget that has their background in your layout screen and then add one of my backgrounds following the directions listed on this site. Hope this helps some of you.

New backgrounds coming soon! Sorry there haven't been any lately. I have been trying to keep my focus on my kiddos and haven't spent as much time on the computer. I hope to have some new backgrounds posted soon.

Fix

Today I put the freedom-1 background on my personal blog and realized how hard it was to read my posts. It is one of my goals to have simple backgrounds that are easy to read, so I redid it with a new red paper. The link for the revised version is now posted. If you are currently using that background you might want to snag the new link so that others can read your posts a little easier! Thanks. New, cute, free, blog backgrounds

All of the new backgrounds posted from here on out should be able to stretch the entire width of your computer screen. Hooray! This should eliminate the extra step of having to search and find a color for the side wrapper to match. If your life is anything like ours, you are all about convenience baby! Here are a few more backgrounds which we hope you will enjoy. Check back often as we will try to add a new background or two every week or so.
